TALL DRUMS:
A NIGERIAN AMERICAN TELEVISION JOURNAL

The Program:
Tall Drums is a 30-minute weekly television
program of news, debate, and commentary on, about, and by Nigerians
abroad. It features interviews with Nigerians in the Diaspora and world
leaders whose work concern or affect Africa and African peoples. The
program also covers major Nigerian events in the Diaspora by invitation,
with special attention paid to Nigerian artistic and creative talents in
the Diaspora.

Tall Drums television
program is produced under a new company known as Tall
Drums, Inc. (TDI), with offices in New Jersey, USA, and
in Owerri and Abuja , Nigeria. TDI is a Broadcasting and

Target Audience:
Tall Drums is designed to reach policy makers,

Africa's largest population of university students and

Television Authority in Abuja (the political capital of
Nigeria ), Lagos and Aba (the commercial centers of the
nation) and through the various satellite stations of
the NTA network, would guarantee a link to the largest
market on the African continent.
This website will support video, so that we would be
able to provide the program online as well, after the
episodes may have aired on the various networks.
Further, through syndication to other networks such as
African Independent Television (AIT), African
Broadcasting Network-America, and New Jersey Network (NJN-PBS)
Tall Drums would be aired not just in Nigeria, but also
here in the American market.
